Random acts of typing

Most people consider sweet tea to be normal tea with extra sugar added.  NAY….. that is incorrect, oh naive one.  Sweet tea is a delectable beverage sent from the heavens to quench the most parched individual’s thirst.  The trick to a good, Southern sweet tea is to add the RIGHT amount of sugar while the tea is hot and freshly steeped, then to add ice.  The amount of sugar is a secret so guarded, even the most valient of efforts will still leave you recipe-less.  As a Westerner, I am not viewed as critically as the Northerners who have traveled to the South to pillage the virtuous Southern women and steal all the tobacco factories, but I am still not privileged enough as to be instructed on proper preparation of this lovely liquid delight.  That’s okay though - I’ll just order it up wherever I’m so fortunate enough as to be eating that day.  Granted, it will not be like Bobby Sue’s grandmomma makes, but it will still be a good Southern sweet tea and I’ll like it ‘cuz I’m just not from here and it tastes right to me.
